Frequently asked questions

Where can I buy tickets?

You can purchase tickets via our website or at our box office on site. Cash and cards will be accepted at the box office and our food stands.

What time do gates open and when does the film start?

Check each event information for gate opening times.

How many people per car?

At the moment, only people from the same household or extended household are allowed to travel in the same vehicle. The tickets are sold per car, so if you are a family with 2 or 3 children in your household then you are able to bring them all. We will not limit numbers within a vehicle as long as they are safely in their seats.

Is food & drink available to buy?

We will have a wide range of food and drink avaliable to order direct to your car via the NO Q App. You will receive a flyer on entry with instructions on how to download the app and how to order to your car. The following is an example of what will be avaliable: All kinds of hot dogs from cinema style hot dogs to a large selection Bavarian sausages such as bratwursts Prime beef burges fries. Cappuccino, Latte, Hot chocolates with whipped cream and marshmallows Giant muffins Oreo cookie milk shakes and other milk shakes Slushes Pop corn Pringles Sweets Waffles Crepes Budweiser 0 ( non alcoholic) Cold drinks

How do I get to the event?

We will be releasing details of the exact event locations in the coming weeks, please check the website for updates.

What should I bring?

You'll need a vehicle with a working FM radio in order to hear the movie. A printed version of your @ the flix ticket is required for entry or you can show it on your phone. We recommend taking a screenshot as signal may be patchy. We'd also recommend wrapping up warm, as it will be more eco friendly to not to run idol engines. It's likely to be cold at night, so warm clothes, blankets, pillows and a hot water bottle are all great ideas. Remember, animals aren’t permitted and neither is alcohol.

Are 4x4s and people carriers permitted?

Yes, these vehicles will be accommodated in a dedicated area. Please note, no vans, coaches or commercial vehicles are permitted.

Are there toilets on site?

Of course! These include accessable toilets and baby changing facilities.

How do I hear the movie?

You need to have an FM radio (in-car or handheld) to hear the movie. Details of the frequency will be provided on arrival.

Is this suitable for kids?

Yes! Bear in mind, some of the movies are rated 15 or 18, so parental discretion is advised.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome.

What if the weather's bad?

If there's a little rain, just turn on your windscreen wipers! In the unlikely event of extreme weather conditions, please check our Facebook page for updates before setting off.

What happens if the event is cancelled?

We’ll only cancel the event in extreme circumstances. Keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates, but if we do have to cancel the event we’ll email you to let you know.

If the event is cancelled, can I get a refund?

If the event is cancelled for any reason, your ticket will be refunded by @ the flix via your original payment method within 7-10 working days.

I can’t make my time slot, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

How will you provide a safe environment to allow for social distancing?

We know how important it is to maintain social distancing right now so we’ve made sure we will lay out the cinema to conform with Government guidelines and ensure we have lots of space for everyone. Cars will be parked with sufficient space around them. We are advising guests to stay in their vehicle during the full experience and to only exit to use the toilets or in case of emergency. Entry will be checked by scanning your ticket through your car window to ensure no interaction between staff and customers is required. All of the procedures we have put in place have been planned with our team of Health and Safety experts to ensure that we can effectively operate a safe experience for all. We will have hand sanitiser stations outside each toilet location, plus additional hand sanitiser at the catering points. All our staff will receive extensive training around the appropriate safety procedures for maintaining the highest levels of hygiene. This includes regular hand washing, as well as the use of appropriate levels of PPE when preparing, serving and delivering food and beverages. Our managers will be making sure that our teams are delivering the best, safest service to you at all times. Maintaining the safety of our staff and guests is our main priority. A clean, comfortable experience will be provided for all who attend. We will continue to monitor Government guidance as the rules may change if the country goes into a different phase. If any changes are made to the Social Distance measures that will impact the event, we will inform customers via email and social media.

What happens if we go into lockdown again and the event can’t take place?

If any of our events are not able to safely take place, we will operate a full refund policy including booking fees for all customers. We want to ensure all our customers that they can book with confidence and not have to worry if their ticket money will be returned in case of the event not continuing. All customers can be assured that they are in safe hands.

What do we do with rubbish?

As we are trying to operate with a small as possible team to ensure the safety of staff we are asking that all guests take their rubbish away with them and do not dispose of it at the event. This helps us in not having our staff touching the waste or collecting it. Please be considerate and remove your own rubbish.

What happens if COVID-19 forces the event to be cancelled?

In the event that COVID-19 forces the event to be cancelled all customers will receive a refund.
